Thank You, Lakeview Rotary!
The Lakeview Rotary has donated the bulk of the proceeds of this year's Wild Goose Race to the Lakeview Booster Club.  The Booster Club annually raises 20 to 25% of the costs of athletics and activities at LHS.  Thank you to all who bought Goose Race tickets, and thanks especially to the Lakeview Rotary!

Home Games

Parents, please supervise your younger students.  Due to liability concerns, they should not be playing on our practice or game fields during our high school football games, or behind the bleachers at our basketball games.  We don't want anyone to get hurt, and we don't have the resources to supervise their play.  We want all the young honkers to support the older athletes, but please do so by cheering for them and watching the game, rather than by playing in the dark.

Lakeview High School serves a relatively stable district, a small town where education and community service are valued. The college scholarships available from the educational trusts of Bernard Daly, Collins-McDonald, and Burt Snyder have promoted advanced education in this isolated Eastern Oregon setting. Community service is expected and encouraged.

Lakeview High School provides educational experiences to enable students to be life-long learners and to make positive contributions to the communities in which they will live. While at LHS students develop skills in critical thinking, problem solving, literacy, research, and computation. They also accumulate a broad basis of general knowledge and skills that enables them to be contributing citizens in a democratic society. Students' schedules include a variety of courses and participation in co-curricular activities. Teachers are life-long learners who model the skills and attitudes that they promote in their students.

Lakeview High School takes pride in its commitment to having a personal interest in each of its students. Students are expected and encouraged to reach their individual potentials; obtain counseling with academic, social, or personal concerns; model positive attitudes and appropriate behaviors; value wellness; and maintain healthy lifestyles.
