Extra circus tickets up for grabs!
The Chamber of Commerce provided 33 additional child tickets. These are for ages 2-12. These tickets are up for grabs for any children living in Lake County. Please come to A.D. Hay Elementary to claim them. First come, first served. Office hours are 7:30-3:30p.m.
The Honkers had a great showing at districts. Six will be headed to State this week in Eugene. We have not heard on wildcards yet.

Come out this week for our last home game and Senior Night!
Senior v. Staff was an incredible event. Seniors took the win in a hard fought battle. LHS raised $8000 and everyone sported their orange for Garrett Dunk and for Leukemia Awareness.
Lakeview is a community that comes together and supports one another in times of need. Thank you to all the businesses and families who contributed to the silent auction, 50/50, and other donations. Our kids demonstrated this week how those values have been passed onto them by their parents and this community.

This Thursday and Friday is our middle and high school spring plant sale! We have a selection of annual bedding plants, tomatoes, peppers, basil, hanging baskets, and patio planters.
Please no early birds to allow us time to set up each day, and we will be closing for the day promptly at 4 PM on Thursday so we can attend the memorial for student and classmate Garrett Dunk.
Please remember we can only accept cash or check. We are not able to accept credit/debit cards.

Once again our community came through for the seniors at LHS! Thank you Alan and Ryan, the manager and assistant manager at Les Schwab, for coming to school and teaching the seniors how to change a tire, jump a dead battery and put tire chains on a vehicle. We are so blessed to live in Lakeview!
Friendly reminder that Kindergarten Round up for Fremont Elementary is TONIGHT at 5:30! Union Elementary along with a second session for Fremont will be this Thursday, the 9th at 5:30!

Our Honker family was devastated to hear the news that one of our former students and athletes, Garrett Dunk, passed away yesterday. In honor of him our Staff v. Senior basketball game tomorrow will be dedicated to Leukemia Awareness. Please wear orange to show support. There will also be a 50/50 raffle as well as donations accepted to raise funds for the Dunk family.

Today, we traveled to Klamath Falls to compete in the Meat Evaluation CDE Contest. Students evaluated beef carcasses for quality and yield grade; identified various meat cuts and placed carcasses; and identified wholesale and/or retail cuts.

The horticulture classes have been busy gearing up for our plant sale, May 9th & 10th, but have also squeezed in time to learn fruit tree pruning, cane berry pruning, tissue culture, and also teach some elementary students about gardening!
