The AD Hay and Fremont book drive is still active. The LHS Honor Society has not yet reached the goal of 100 books so it's not too late to donate a book. Thanks to those who donated the 48 books! The students are really enjoying them!

Join LHS for the annual Senior versus Staff basketball game this Wednesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Honker Court. Happy Horse brownies, cookie dough and sugar cookie bars will be available for sale. Grades K-6 at Union, Fremont and Hay schools participated in the 2023 Regional Math Challenges. Thousands of students across 35 school districts in the E. Oregon REN region are having FUN in the classroom while demonstrating awesome mathematical thinking.
Congratulations to Sammeejo Hutchison for being the county winner of a pair of Apple AirPods Pro & a fun surprise package for her class. All teachers who participated were entered into a random drawing for these prizes. Thank you to REN for the treats!

Welcome back! We hope everyone enjoyed Spring Break. Spring conferences are being held on Wednesday, April 5th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, April 6th from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Babysitting will be provided for your convenience while you are in conferences, and we will be holding a Book Fair in the A.D. Hay gym. All conferences have been scheduled. If you have a question about conferences times, please call the school at 541-947-2136.
All baseball and softball contests that were scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled. Reschedule date is pending.
Miss De Leon's Hieroglyphics winners!!!
Miss De Leon's class has been learning about ancient Egypt and the kids got a chance to write on papyrus just like scribes did in ancient Egypt! Miss De Leon made it a challenge for them to make them look as neat as possible and the winners got class dollars and the top winner (Ember) got a papyrus bookmark with hieroglyphs on it!
