Danielle Thames runs our resource room at LHS/DMS. Danielle is also an adult supervisor for Sources of Strength. She is enthusiastic about helping students and can be found at lunch time helping students get lunch and opening her door to them. Even on her own time she wants to help students feel safe and comfortable. Thank you Dani for all you do!

Lacey Howard teaches pre-calculus, calculus, and liberal arts math at LHS. Lacey came in mid year and does an incredible job! She does math tutoring after school as well, we appreciate her dedication to students and passion for math. We are so excited to have her back with us next year! Thank you Lacey for all you do!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to Bobbie's scrap book. We collected photos and letters from students throughout her time at LHS/DMS.
The Sports Medicine students and Keli Hall presented it to her this week. She loved the book and we can't thank you all enough for coming together to make it happen. A special thank you to Keli Hall for putting the scrap book together.

Evan Reese teaches IT at LHS and keeps our technology running district wide. He has a magical power that allows electronics to remedy themselves whenever he walks into the room, embarrassing all who ask for help with their technology. Mason Vickerman teaches Welding Advances Woods, Ag Mechanics, Trades, Construction, and Middle School Shop at LHS/DMS. Mason has worked closely with our Ag teacher Kaylie to be able to offer his classes as FFA and take students to FFA competitions. He has also worked hard to bring in and establish new stations and curriculum in welding and shop classrooms. Thank you Mason for all your hard work!

David and Stephanie Castro are the dynamic duo! They teach students regulation techniques in our Student Success Room and teach English Essentials. The work they have done in the Student Success Room is incredible including new electronic sign in and sign out systems. Alex Hamilton teaches World History and 8th Grade Social Studies at LHS/DMS. She also helps with softball and has agreed to continue the annual 8th Grade Washington DC Trip. Thank you Alex for all you do and congratulations on the newest addition to your family! We also want to thank Nate Sawin for being Alex's long term sub. It is not easy to step in and fulfill a full time teaching job mid year, we appreciate all your hard work!

Tara Counts is a certified staff member who works behind the scenes to make sure our schools run smooth. She is our District Testing Coordinator, Synergy/LBL Systems Contact, State Reporter, and KCC Liaison. Tara does so much of the heavy work when it comes to school district compliance. Kaylie Wright teaches Agriculture, Vet Science, Animal Science, AG Business, AG Exploration, and Work Program. Teaching FFA requires a highly dedicated person to manage not only in class learning but also fundraising, community events, fair, state/district competitions, national convention, and more. Kaylie has done an outstanding job managing and expanding the AG program. You can clearly see her passion and dedication in all she does. Thank you Kaylie for all you do!
