Student council members have been busy! Be sure to check out this Honker Hotshots board on the landing in the gym. The board features our Honkers that have a gpa of 3.5 or above and are also involved in athletics or activities. Way to go Honks!!!

Our boys and girls varsity basketball teams spent their morning reading to the elementary students! All elementary students will get into tonight's game for free and will have the chance to win some candy bars.




Come out to Honker Court tonight to support the LHS basketball seniors as we honor their years as basketball players. Wear your blue and gold!!!
You can also get a great tri tip sandwich meal donated and prepared by Donna Kness and Pam Lamb to support our Jay Lamb Fund that helps kids in need be able to participate in athletics and activities at LHS. Dinners can be eaten on site or taken to go and will be served out of the foyer of the gym starting at 4:30. If you have any questions, call the LHS office.

Daly Middle School Track and Field signups are in the LHS Library! Parent athlete meeting on March 6th at 4:00 p.m. in room 414. The first practice is on March 13th at 3:20 p.m.! If you would like to volunteer to help, please let me Coach Bowers know.

Veterinary Science have been learning about all there is to know about Animal Reproduction. What better way to learn more about it by a local AI Technician, Breann Vandenberg!

Freestyle and Greco Roman Wrestling Season is approaching! Everyone is encouraged to try even if you have no wrestling experience. Signups are in the LHS Library.

The high school horticulture class has been growing cyclamen and will have these beautiful indoor plants available for purchase at the Saturday, February 11th home basketball game. Gallon sized plants are $10 and help support the horticulture program.




Parent meeting for this year's 8th grade Washington D.C. trip will be next Thursday, February 16 at 7:00 pm in Mr. Stupak's classroom.

The high school horticulture class had a great time helping Ms. Watts’ 3rd grade students planting garlic sprouts.

Mrs. Bauer's 7th grade Social Studies classes had a fun day learning about Lunar New Year today!




The middle school Wrestling team wrestled at the Hines and Jay Winn Memorial Tournaments this past weekend. Friday at the Hines tournament Austyn Dolbear, Eli Cook, and Elijah Havely all placed first! Riggs Lym took second, and Nate Zendejas took fourth. Saturday at the Jay Winn tournament Austyn Dolbear, Eli Cook, and Elijah Havely took second. AJ Dolbear took third.
