The Lakeview High School Honor Society is proud to announce the winners of this year's Noni Vandenberg Memorial Scholarship. Tyler McNeley and Becky Patzke wrote an essay related to a quote about sunflowers to win the award. Congratulations!

Students in Ag Exploration explored cattle flight zones and worked as agricultural engineers to design a corral system that uses the research of Dr. Temple Grandin.
We made this into a class compeition to encourage students to give us the best corral system and be able to convince us why we should use their design! Here are the results!
Tied for 1st - Kimmy Baker & Team Alondra Sanchez & Aaliyah Villanueva
2nd Place - Team Ryan Havel, Wyatt Frederick, & Wyatt Goodan
3rd Place - Team Lilly Fernlund & Lauren Hill
Ms. Wright and her TA, Hammond Woodworth gave additional recognition to each team.
Kimmy - Most improvement from her first corral system design
Alondra & Aaliyah - Most Unique
Ryan, Wyatt F., & Wyatt G. - Most Convincing & Affordable
Lilly F. & Lauren - Most Practical
Kanoa, Jesse, & Omar - Most Creative
Evie, Eli, & Cody - Most interesting company name
Lyllian, Lily M., & BriarRose - Fan Favorite
Great job Ag!

The Class of 2023 Senior Mother's Luncheon was amazing! The senior class officers put together a lovely program and the atmosphere was a perfect way to honor our mothers. We couldn't have done it without the support of the Lakeview Elks' Club, the LHS culinary class, the LHS horticulture class and Aimee Kintzley.
