The horticulture and advanced horticulture classes spent the morning cleaning and planting the town planters around Lakeview. Students worked on growing the plants at the school greenhouses and finished the project by installing them today!
Animal Science Feed Bag Project! 🐮🐷🐥
Students created a 50 lb bag of feed by choosing two ingredients and doing the Pearson Square Method to determine the amount of each ingredient needed to fill their bag. They also had to figure out the cost of each ingredient and create a retail cost for their feed. It was a great way to apply their knowledge of feed rationing and animal nutrition!
It takes a real team effort to make games happen for our athletes.

LCSD#7 Wellness Wednesday! Corn hole, kick ball, disc golf, burgers and bonding time!
Lake County School District #7 Board of Directors will be appointing the vacant school board position, #3. If you are interested in serving as a LCSD7 board member, please submit a formal Letter of Interest to the Lake County School District Office located at 1341 South First Street.
Closing Date: June 8, 2023, 12:00 PM.
Letters of Interest must include a brief introduction of yourself, any experience you may have serving as a board member, an explanation of why you would like to serve on the LCSD7 board, and what you feel would be the biggest challenges serving as a board member.

On Thursday, May 18, the senior English classes attended the Oregon Shakespeare Festival to watch a contemporary version of the play Romeo and Juliet.

Our local BLM asked our 5th grade students to create a "Tread Lightly, and Leave No Trace" poster. Their goal was to create a poster that shared with others about being prepared, traveling responsibly, and doing their part in cleaning and protecting our wildlife. This was a contest for all of Lake County! I have attached the winners from A.D. Hay’s 5th grade classes.
Union Elementary attends SO MANY fun field trips!
On Friday, they traveled to the Children's Museum in Klamath Falls. I have attached a few pictures from their trip!
