Count down to Teacher Appreciation Week! Three more days to go! Mason Vickerman teaches Welding Advances Woods, Ag Mechanics, Trades, Construction, and Middle School Shop at LHS/DMS. Mason has worked closely with our Ag teacher Kaylie to be able to offer his classes as FFA and take students to FFA competitions. He has also worked hard to bring in and establish new stations and curriculum in welding and shop classrooms. Thank you Mason for all your hard work! They teach students regulation techniques in our Student Success Room and teach English Essentials. The work they have done in the Student Success Room is incredible including new electronic sign in and sign out systems. She also helps with softball and has agreed to continue the annual 8th Grade Washington DC Trip. Thank you Alex for all you do and congratulations on the newest addition to your family! She is our District Testing Coordinator, Synergy/LBL Systems Contact, State Reporter, and KCC Liaison. Tara does so much of the heavy work when it comes to school district compliance. Renee has been working hard all year both teaching and completing her masters degree. We appreciate her dedication to students as well as her drive to continually learn more and try new ideas. Count down to Teacher Appreciation Week! One more week to go! Kaylie Wright teaches Agriculture, Vet Science, Animal Science, AG Business, AG Exploration, and Work Program. Teaching FFA requires a highly dedicated person to manage not only in class learning but also fundraising, community events, fair, state/district competitions, national convention, and more. Kaylie has done an outstanding job managing and expanding the AG program. You can clearly see her passion and dedication in all she does. Thank you Kaylie for all you do! Horticulture students worked at planting sagebrush seedlings grown in the greenhouse for a fire restoration project. It was a beautiful day to learn more about native plant propagation and apply soil science knowledge. Thanks to Institute of Applied Ecology and J-Spear ranch for partnering on this project!

She does an outstanding job managing both in person and online with her top notch organization. You can also find her helping out wherever needed.
